1-1/4″ to 1″ Lathe Spindle Adapter,
Adapter is well machined and dead on center. Only thing I would have liked to see on it was a set screw to lock the adapter on the sppindle when in “reverse” mode. Many other adapters have such feature.
Versatility at the lathe,
I purchased this spindle adapter so I could switch chucks back and forth between my lathes which have different spindle sizes. It also came in handy when making a threading jig. Nice machining.
Headstock Spindle Adaptor,
The adaptor (1-1/4 x 8 tpi to 1 inch x8tpi chuck) was machined better than I thought it would be. No snags when turning it into place from either the 1-1/4 or 1 inch ends. It is, however, solid on the 1 inch end. If you have a vacuum system that goes through the headstock and you have 1 tpi vacuum bells you will not be able to form your vacuum, obviously.
